Esto es supuestamente 3 leaks del mismo autor en años distintos, previos al teaser de 2018, al trailer de 2021.

Lo voy a clasificar por categorías con el año del leak, con algún comentario en cada 1.


01🚀 SPACE SHIPS

01🎲(2021)-The ships are very akin to what we have today but more updated.

02🎲(2021)-You can customize your ships through a base model. You can build outward and inward from the interior. Same tech is used from the settlement system.

02🎲(2021)-For settlement management and delegation: Someone in the office pointed out the game kingmaker to us and how micromanagement can take up a lot of time an energy, we all agreed that we needed to have an element to let the player control it from a range for micro stuff without needed their intervention to the let the player play the game. (Todd mentions you can delegate tasks to others)

05🎲(2021)-Starfield has around the same gameplay loop as fallout 4 and 76 but way more in-depth in two things: Exploration and building a settlement bigger and we improved these quite a bit. There are blank planets where players can make colonies during or after the main story.

01🎲(2018)-Todd Howard was inspired by Chris Robert’s “the death of a spaceman” which has consequences when a player dies. Such as losing limbs, and a possibility of permanent death. A team was sent to work on complex character designs for this.

04🎲(2021)-Dialogue options are back with voiceless protagonist. Bethesda learned their mistakes from fallout 4.

🎲(2021)-Return to move oblivion levels-ish rpg elements. They lean into more freedom like gun customization/ship customization plus more crew settings to role-play into what type of player you are, but as for pure skills they are more akin to Skyrim’s “Do to learn.” (looks exactly like oblivion's skill leveling system)

01🎲(2021)-Says that this game will appeal to people who like sci-fi games and fans of older slower pace games. Does not think the looter shooter type from Fo4/Fo76 will very much enjoy this without 100% adjusting to the original style of Bethesda games like Morrowind where you got to search everything out for story.

02🎲(2021)-Pretty hard sci-fi, nothing outlandish like borderlands or Outer Wilds but more down to earth like..Alien? No that’s not right… I want to say interstellar but I still think that’s a bit off, I unironically think more towards Cabin the Woods which is not sci-fi but more of a “Everything takes a… “It has a reason to be here and it just works.” Approach.

03🎲(2021)-The story will take place in a very near future setting.

04🎲(2021)-For story, there is an overarching plot to drive the player to go planet to planet to explore, but he said he didn’t want to reveal it

06🚀 EXPLORACIÓN

01🎲(2021)-Exploration is a huge part of the game. There will be a core central universe with a long story behind it with many different planets to visit based off it. It is pretty open ended where you can go from system to system. Further empathizes later that there are extra planets out on the further reaches solely there for the player to fuck around and use the settlement system  still hand crafted just kinda more “freedom for you to fuck with” areas away from the main story

02🎲(2021)-Gameplay exists of exploring the universe, there is a bit of space travel like to debris fields surrounding earth due to trash gathering.

03🎲(2021)-The game requires more intelligence, there are still quest markets but after Outer Wilds the office like more exploration based quests.

04🎲(2021)-The planets are massive compared to skyrim/fallout. They are much bigger. They are also spherical. There is also a trick used to conserve game memory.

06🎲(2021)-Does not have unrealistic stuff like Star Trek giant space amoebas and greek gods. However, it does have that early Star Trek vibe of exploration.
